Who is This Chad-Guy Anyway?
In addition to being a well-respected Executive and Coach who was involved with building and selling a multi-generational family business, Chad Bentley is an accomplished endurance athlete and the recipient of the Craig Perceval Be Phenomenal Award in sportsmanship. He is a multi-time Ironman finisher, Ultramarathon Finisher, 3-time Ultraman finisher, 2-time Ultra520 finisher, and was the first Canadian to complete the gruelling Epic 5 Challenge, which saw him undertake five Ironman races in five days on five Hawaiian Islands, while raising funds for five different children-focused charities. He completed the Haute Route Pyrenees, a 555km five-day cycling adventure through France, Spain, and Andorra. Most recently, to commemorate his 50th birthday, he took on the challenge of running five consecutive 50-km races in five days on different Hawaiian Islands.
But wait.
He wasn’t always an over-the-top endurance athlete. About 20 years ago, his life was very different. In fact, the never-ending length of his fast-food orders at the drive-thru were a thing to marvel. A one-time heavy drinking, cigarette-smoking, fast food junky, today Chad is a coach, speaker, and ambassador of the philosophy that the ability to embrace personal transformation is within us all.
He holds a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from e-Cornell, a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University School of Business, and is formally trained in Hypnosis, Time Line Therapy™ and Neuro-Linguistic Programming at the Master Practitioner level.
